Hi, I'm Dr. Liu, a licensed clinical psychologist, a Bay Area native and a second-generation Chinese-American. I provide individual therapy with a specialization in stress, frustration, anxiety related to work, relationships, cultural issues, school, and life transitions. I practice from an integrative, evidence-based therapeutic approach, which includes use of techniques and interventions from Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Compassion focused therapy, while maintaining strong consideration to multicultural perspectives to issues and solutions.
In today’s fast paced society, it is easy to feel burned out and overwhelmed without support and self-care. Our emotional well-being affects our productivity, relationships, and impact on ourselves. At times it is difficult to do things on our own and there may be many moments of despair. But the greatest key towards an eventual growth is meeting the right people along your journey that creates the transformative relationship you need for change.
